Cruise on the Creuse River and Eguzon Lake.
The cruise lasts one and a half hours. A French guide will tell you all about Crozant, the region, its history and the evolution of the landscape and its consequences. The boat has 55 seats. We strongly advise you to book in advance.
Hiking tours
Crozant and its immediate surroundings are an area rich in hiking trails. An ideal environment for a nice weekend or midweek walk. On the spot we are happy to give you some suggestions and we can lend you different walking maps. If you want to prepare yourself a bit more, you can also consult the websites of the tourist offices of Dun le Palestel and Eguzon. On these sites you can also print out the maps. Canoeing/kayaking
The river Creuse has several dams, so there is a minimum of current in the summer season. This offers the ideal opportunity for everyone, young and old, with or without experience, to go canoeing/kayaking on the river Creuse. The peninsula with its ruins or the beautiful nature and tranquillity as we paddle towards Fresselines are very worthwhile. The departure and return point is in front of Hotel du Lac. We rent out 1-person and 2/3-person canoes/kayaks. You are free to go where you wish. You will be given a map of the river with all the important phone numbers in case of emergency, paddles, a waterproof container and a life jacket.
Fishing
The Eguzon lake, covering almost 300 hectares, is rich in fish. So if you like fishing, bring your fishing rod. Fishing cards for a day or a week are available in the village of Dun le Palestel. As well as bait and everything else you may need. The most sought after species are: Pike, Pike, Carp and Catfish.
